ATLANTA (January 12, 2021) | On Monday, Jan. 11th, Sen. Clint Dixon (R – Gwinnett) was sworn into the state Senate by Justice Charlie Bethel of the Georgia Supreme Court. Sen. Dixon represents Georgia’s 45th Senate District, which includes portions of Gwinnett County. This marks the beginning of his two-year term in the Georgia Senate and the official beginning of the 156th Georgia General Assembly.
“I am honored to serve as the new state Senator for the 45th Senate District,” said Sen. Dixon. “As a self-made local businessman, I am bringing a citizen’s eye to the legislature and am well-prepared to serve our state, particularly in my areas of expertise, such as property and zoning laws, public utilities and other urban affairs. I am looking forward to working with my colleagues to continue to ensure our policies make Georgia a great state to live and work in.”
Sen. Dixon has been a commercial real estate professional for over 20 years. Sen. Dixon currently resides in Gwinnett County with his wife, Hayden, and their three children: Hudson (13), Berkley (10) and Emsley (7).
