ATLANTA (May 16, 2023) | On Thursday, May 18, 2023, the members of the Gwinnett Senate and House Legislative Delegations will hold a town hall at 6 p.m. at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center (GJAC). The town hall will consist of a Q&A with the members of the delegations as well as an in-depth look on the economic status of the state and Gwinnett County.

Georgia Military Veterans Hall of Fame to Hold Unveiling Ceremony for 2021 and 2022 Classes

ATLANTA (April 19, 2023) | Tomorrow, Senator Ed Harbison (D – Columbus) will be hosting an unveiling ceremony for the Georgia Military Veterans Hall of Fame (GMVHOF), honoring the inductees of the 2021 and 2022 classes. The event will entail a citation and photo presentation as well as remarks from Lt. Governor Burt Jones and Georgia Department of Veterans Service Commissioner Patricia Ross.

Senator Sonya Halpern to Host Third Annual HBCU Heritage Day at the State Capitol

ATLANTA (March 17, 2023) | On Monday, March 20, 2023, Senator Sonya Halpern (D – Atlanta) and Governor Brian Kemp will host the Presidents of Georgia’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) at the third annual HBCU Heritage Day at the State Capitol. The event is open to the public and will feature a short program to celebrate the impact and importance of Georgia’s 10 HBCUs.
