ATLANTA (Nov. 7, 2023) | On Saturday, Nov. 11, Senate Majority Caucus Chair Sen. Jason Anavitarte (R–Dallas) will host, along with other local community leaders, a ceremony to unveil a new civic project for the community of Paulding County, Georgia. This project aims to replenish the trees that have been removed from the community and honor Paulding County’s veterans. The project will plant 25 trees to be located at the intersection of Seven Hills Boulevard and Sugar Mist Drive in the honor of Paulding veterans.

Joint Tax Credit Review Subcommittee to Hold Fifth Meeting at Columbus State University
ATLANTA (Nov. 7, 2023) | On Wednesday, Nov. 8, the Joint Tax Credit Review Subcommittee, Co-Chaired by Sen. Chuck Hufstetler (R–Rome) and Rep. Shaw Blackmon (R–Bonaire), will conduct its fifth meeting at Columbus State University in Columbus, GA.
The committee aims to assess Georgia’s current tax incentives and propose potential changes before the 2024 Georgia Legislative Session.
