Brendan Starr, Paul Oh, Erin Hanson Start Summer Internship with Office of Sen. Albers

ATLANTA (June 20, 2011) – State Sen. John Albers (R-Roswell) welcomes Brendan Starr, Paul Oh and Erin Hanson as summer interns at his office. Interns help with various tasks around the office including research, community events and meetings with state leaders.

“I’m committed to working with high school and college students, giving them a unique learning opportunity and helping them to make a difference in their state government,” said Sen. Albers. “It’s a joy to work with Brendan, Paul and Erin. They are hard-working and a definite asset to my team.”

Brendan is from Fairfax, Virginia. He is a senior at Roswell High School. In his spare time, Brendan enjoys working with the Young Republicans Club and the Robotics Club at his high school. In addition to working with Sen. Albers, he works at a local woodworking shop.

Paul is currently a student at Georgia Tech, working towards a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Modern Languages. He enjoys video production, travelling and meeting new people.

Erin was born and raised in Glen Burnie, Maryland to David and Roberta Hanson. She was Valedictorian of her graduating class at Glen Burnie High School and now studies computer engineering at Georgia Tech. Erin works as a Student Research Assistant at the Georgia Tech Research Institute as well as an administrative assistant to Sen. Albers.
