ATLANTA (December 9, 2025) — Today, Sen. Max Burns (R–Sylvania) celebrated the approval of the Daniel Field Airport rehabilitation project. Administered by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), the project includes a taxiway update, an update to the airport layout plan, the removal of airport obstructions and an environmental assessment of the airport, along with additional improvements to Daniel Field Airport in the City of Augusta.
