Weapons Reporting and Licensing Bill Passes Senate
ATLANTA (March 4, 2013) – Senate Bill 101, a bill that would remove burdensome reporting requirements for firearms dealers and recognize out-of-state weapons carry licenses in Georgia, passed the Senate today by a vote of 41 to 10. Sen. Hufstetler Leads the Passage of SB 195
ATLANTA (March 4, 2013) – The Senate passed Senate Bill 195 today by a vote of 50-1. Sponsored by Sen. Chuck Hufstetler (R-Rome), SB 195 would allow schools to stock a supply of auto-injectable epinephrine pursuant to a prescription issued by a practitioner in the name of the school. Senate Bill 179 passes to encourage competitive proposals for public works construction projects
ATLANTA (March 4, 2013) – The Senate passed Senate Bill 179 by a vote of 48 to 0. Sponsored by Sen. Hunter Hill (R-Smyrna), this bill eliminates the need for bid bonds when the state or a local government invites competitive proposals for a public works construction project.
