nanATLANTA (May 16, 2014) |  State Senator Nan Grogan Orrock (D-Atlanta) joined Rep. Sheila Jones (D-Atlanta), Rep. Keisha Waites (D-Atlanta), and Rep. Simone Bell (D-Atlanta) in a meeting with Congressman David Scott (D-GA13) to present him with a letter signed by twenty-two Georgia women legislators. Sen. Jeff Mullis Announces New Tax Incentives for Local Amusement Park

ATLANTA (May 12, 2014)  |  Sen. Jeff Mullis (R – Chickamauga) is proud to announce that as of April 18, 2014, the South’s favorite family amusement park – Lake Winnepesaukah of Rossville – is the first tourism destination approved for a tax incentive under the Georgia Tourism Development Act. With the addition of their $5 million new water park expansion, SOAK YA, Lake Winnepesaukah is helping Georgia continue to both draw new visitors and keep familiar ones returning. The ten year agreement involves a partial sales tax refund for Lake Winnepesaukah on the increased revenues due to the addition of SOAK YA Water Park in 2013. Continue reading “Sen. Sen. Chuck Hufstetler Selected to Serve on Policy Advisory Group of the Georgia Collaborative on Integrated Care
