Darien Bridge to Remain Open During Construction
ATLANTA (August 10, 2018) | Sen. William Ligon (R – Waverly), in discussions with Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Commissioner Russell McMurry on Friday, obtained GDOT agreement that the Darien bridge would remain open during construction, however, only one lane will be available for traffic flow serving both directions. Sen. Fran Millar to Hold First Meeting of the Senate Study Committee on Dyslexia
ATLANTA (August 7, 2018) |Sen. Fran Millar (R – Dunwoody) and members of the Senate Study Committee on Dyslexia will hold their first meeting on Friday, August 17, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. in room 307 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building. During this meeting, the committee will receive presentations from experts on the background of Dyslexia, current steps and training that are in place to identify and treat Dyslexia and listen to public comment.
