ATLANTA (May 9, 2013) – Sen. Jesse Stone (R-Waynesboro) releases the following statement on the signing of his sponsored legislation on May 7th:
“I thank Governor Nathan Deal and other participating stakeholders for their collaboration to turn Senate Bill 61, Senate Bill 86, Senate Bill 225 and House Bill 122 and House Bill 182 into law.
I authored these senate bills and carried these house bills to help address issues that are not only faced in my district but across Georgia. From assisting self-service storage facility owners in enforcing property liens without judicial intervention to strengthening our protections for victims of family violence, these new laws will provide a business-friendly and safer Georgia for all.”
May 7th marked the end of the Governor’s bill review period. For a full list of signed legislation for the 2013 term including other bills that I authored, carried, or helped shape, please visit online: http://gov.georgia.gov/bills-signed/2013.
