Education and Youth Subcommittee on Students with Disabilities to Hold First Meeting

ATLANTA (September 11, 2025) —On Tuesday, September 16, the Senate Education and Youth Subcommittee on Students with Disabilities, chaired by Sen. Clint Dixon (R–Mulberry), will hold its first hearing.

ABOUT THE MEETING:         

The Senate Education and Youth Subcommittee on Students with Disabilities will review the current state of education in Georgia for students with disabilities. The subcommittee may also recommend additional steps to ensure that students and families statewide have access to supportive and welcoming learning environments.
