ATLANTA (January 13, 2023) | Yesterday, Sen. Brandon Beach (R – Alpharetta) was appointed to serve as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Economic Development and Tourism.
“I am honored to have been chosen by Lt. Governor Burt Jones and my fellow members of the Senate Committee on Assignments for the opportunity to serve as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Economic Development and Tourism,” said Sen. Beach. “The economy is at the forefront of many Georgian’s minds. As a long-time member and now Chairman of this committee, I look forward to supporting legislation that will stimulate growth state-wide and create new opportunities for business and success in this state.”
In addition to serving as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Economic Development and Tourism, Sen. Beach will also serve as a member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, Finance, Rules, and Assignments. He has also been named as an ex-officio member on the Senate Committees on Higher Education, Reapportionment and Redistricting, and Transportation.
