Sen. Valencia Seay Honors Constituent with Women’s Caucus 2015 ‘Servant Leadership Award’

SeayATLANTA (March 16, 2015) | State Senator Valencia Seay (D-Riverdale) recently presented Tish Naghise, resident of Fayette County, with the Women’s Legislative Caucus 2015 ‘Servant Leadership Award.’

“It was truly an honor to welcome and recognize Tish for her distinguished leadership in the 36th District,” said Sen. Seay. “Our community is blessed to have people like Tish working every day to leave a lasting import on her family, neighborhood, and state. I would like to thank Tish for her service and congratulate the other outstanding women who received this award.”

The Georgia Women’s Legislative Caucus is a bipartisan group of legislators from both the Georgia House and Senate who work together to promote issues important to women and families. Additionally, they also recognize women who have made outstanding contributions to their local communities through the Georgia Legislative Women’s Caucus ‘Servant Leadership Award’.

Recipients of this award must have exhibited a commitment to leaving an enduring, positive impact on their communities while fulfilling their duties as mothers, spouses, professionals, and engaged citizens. This annual event includes recognition in both state houses as well as ceremonial breakfast and a Yellow Rose evening reception.
