ATLANTA (February 5, 2026) — This week, Sen. Jason T. Dickerson (R–Canton) introduced Senate Bill 442 to automatically revoke commercial driver’s licenses for noncitizens once their visas expire or after five years. Additionally, the bill would require noncitizens to pass the applicable knowledge and skills tests to renew their commercial driver’s licenses.

ATLANTA (January 29, 2026) — Earlier this week, Sen. Jason T. Dickerson introduced Senate Bill 429, legislation that would limit monthly income requirements for 100% totally disabled veterans seeking to qualify for housing. Known as the Housing for Heroes Act, the bill would prohibit landlords from requiring income levels exceeding twice a tenant’s monthly rent.

ATLANTA (January 26, 2026) — Recently, Sen. Jason T. Dickerson (R–Canton) introduced Senate Bill 415 to ban the production, distribution, and sale of lab-grown meat. Also known as cultured meat or cell-based meat, lab-grown meat is created by taking cells from animals and feeding them nutrients in a controlled environment.
