ATLANTA (February 3, 2020) | Sen. Ed Harbison (D – Columbus) recently hosted the Georgia Military Veterans’ Hall of Fame (GMVHOF) Class of 2019 at the state Capitol for an unveiling ceremony of recent inductees. This year’s class contains 15 active and inactive service men and women who have been nominated for their display of valor, courage and service. Sen. Harbison is an inductee of the GMVHOF Class of 2014.

This week signified the beginning of the 2020 legislative session and by extension, the second season of the 155th General Assembly. As I took my seat in the Senate Chamber on Monday, I was reminded of the incredible opportunity I have to serve you, members of District 20. Thank you for allowing me to represent you under the Gold Dome and I look forward to allowing your voice to be heard in future legislation. Our gaveling in on Monday marked the first of many meetings to come, discussing the most important issues concerning all Georgians.
