Senate Bill To Create the Georgia Adult and Aging Services Agency and Board

ATLANTA (February 3, 2014) | The Georgia State Senate passed Senate Bill 291 today by a vote of 45 to 5.  Sen. Renee Unterman (R—Buford), Chair of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee, sponsored this legislation to repeal the Division of Aging Services and establish Georgia Adult and Aging Services Agency and its governing board. Sen. David Shafer Honors He Beom Kim, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Atlanta

shaferATLANTA (January 28, 2014)  |  Sen. David Shafer ( R – Duluth) presented Senate Resolution 798 today to He Beom Kim, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Atlanta. The resolution honors the Republic of Korea as one of the strongest allies and trading partners of the United States, and also acknowledges the many contributions of the Korean American community both in Georgia and nationwide.
