Sen. Renee Unterman Commends Signing of Opioid Legislation
ATLANTA (May 4, 2017) | Earlier today, Governor Nathan Deal signed three pieces of legislation that address opioid abuse into Georgia law. Sen. Renee Unterman (R – Buford) carried one of these bills, House Bill 249 in the Senate, and has been a long-time advocate for laws which help fight the opioid epidemic in Georgia.

Sen. Renee Unterman Receives 2016 GPHA Legislator of the Year Award
ATLANTA (April 17, 2017) | On April 12, 2017, Sen. Renee Unterman (R– Buford) received the 2016 Legislator of the Year Award from the Georgia Public Health Association (GPHA). She received the award in front of more than 500 GPHA members at the association’s annual spring meeting in Atlanta.
