ATLANTA (August 28, 2019) | Senate President Pro Tempore Butch Miller (R – Gainesville) released the following statement on the news that Senator Johnny Isakson will resign from office at the end of 2019:

Georgia Environmental Finance Authority Announces Loan to Carroll County

ATLANTA (August 22, 2019) | The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) recently awarded a $25,000,000 loan to the Carroll County Water Authority to fund various capacity improvements. This award was part of $76.1 million awarded statewide for water, sewer and wastewater infrastructure improvements. Senator Kay Kirkpatrick to Serve on Three Study Committees

ATLANTA (August 22, 2019) | Senator Kay Kirkpatrick (R – Marietta) was appointed by Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan to serve on three study committees: Senate Study Committee on Evaluating and Simplifying Physician Oversight of Physician Assistants and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Senate Study Committee on Protection from Sexual Predators and Senate Study Committee on Educational Development of African American Children in Georgia.
