ATLANTA (August 4, 2021) | Sen. John F. Kennedy (R – Macon), Chair of the Senate Committee on Reapportionment and Redistricting, and Rep. Bonnie Rich (R – Suwannee), Chair of the House Legislative and Congressional Reapportionment Committee, have announced the new date for the Augusta area Joint Senate and House Redistricting hearing, which will take place on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Savannah Rapids Pavilion in Martinez, GA.

ATLANTA – The House Legislative & Congressional Reapportionment Committee, chaired by State Representative Bonnie Rich (R-Suwanee), and the Senate Reapportionment and Redistricting Committee, chaired by State Senator John F. Sonya Halpern (D – Atlanta) along with several other elected officials, will host a press conference today, May 14, 2021, at 12:30 p.m., to discuss House Bill 160, which was signed into law on Monday by Gov. Brian Kemp. HB 160 will allow voters in East Point, Hapeville and College Park to decide on long-term infrastructure investments.
