ATLANTA (May 4, 2011) – State Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers (R-Woodstock) has been selected as an influential leader to participate in the Atlanta Regional Commission’s LINK (Leadership Involvement Networking Knowledge) seminar in Seattle, Washington. The LINK Program is intended to facilitate a relationship between Georgia leaders and their counterparts in Washington regarding common issues.

Sen. Albers Recognized by Freemasons of Georgia for His Support of GACHIP Program

Sen. John Albers is recognized by the Georgia Freemasons at the State Capitol during an event to offer free child identification kits to parents

ATLANTA (April 29, 2011) – The Freemasons of Georgia recognized Sen. John Albers (R-Roswell) today at the State Capitol for his support of the Georgia Child Prevention Program, which provides free identification kits that parents and guardians can use to store critical identifying information on their child. Albers was recognized alongside Governor Nathan Deal, Attorney General Sam Olens, and other lawmakers and elected officials.

Sen. Albers to Participate in a March to Remember the Holocaust

ATLANTA (April 28, 2011) – State Sen. John Albers (R-Roswell) will participate in the “March of Remembrance” this Sunday, May 1 at Stone Mountain Park to remember the Holocaust. The prayer walk is being organized by the Atlanta Messianic Congregation Beth Adonai. Sen. Albers has been asked to serve as a guest speaker where he will join other lawmakers and honorable guests.
