ATLANTA (January 31, 2019) |Senator Zahra Karinshak (D – Duluth) is proud to announce her newly-elected position as Chairwoman of the Gwinnett Senate Delegation.
“I am so honored to take on this new leadership role that will directly impact my constituents,” said Sen. Karinshak. “Local legislation is a key piece of the puzzle that makes up state government and how it functions as a whole. I look forward to working with the entire Senate team in a bipartisan manner to support legislation that will continue growth and prosperity in Gwinnett County.”
Sen. Karinshak will be responsible for sponsoring and carrying local legislation beneficial to Gwinnett County. Sen. Sheikh Rahman (D – Lawrenceville) will serve as Vice-Chair and Sen. P.K. Martin (R – Lawrenceville) will serve as Secretary of the Gwinnett Senate Delegation.
