ATLANTA (November 14, 2018) | Yesterday, Sen. Larry Walker (R – Perry) was elected by members of the Majority Caucus to serve as Caucus Vice-Chair.
“I am honored to serve my caucus, constituents and state in this capacity,” said Sen. Walker. “I would like to thank my fellow members for trusting me with this responsibility. Our caucus works hard to ensure that legislation benefitting all Georgians is passed, and I look forward to working with my fellow senators to guarantee that our state remains the best place in which to live, work and play.”
This is Sen. Walker’s first election as the Vice-Chair of the Majority Caucus. Previously, he served as an Administration Floor Leader for Governor Nathan Deal. Sen. Walker was elected to represent Georgia’s 20th Senate District in 2015.
