ATLANTA (March 28, 2018) | Sen. Jen Jordan (D – Atlanta) recognized former Georgia Governor Zell Miller for the establishment of the HOPE Scholarship which provided her the opportunity to go to college and later pursue a career in law and as a state senator.
“I wouldn’t be where I am today without Governor Miller’s passion to expand educational opportunities for students,” said Sen. Jordan. “The scholarship he created opened the door for me and so many other Georgians to pursue degrees that may not have been an option before. He understood that the key to creating a better Georgia is creating a better life for Georgia’s children.”
