Senator Fort to Speak Against Closing of Crown Roads Post Office

WHAT:   State Sen. Vincent Fort (D-Atlanta) will join community leaders to discuss their opposition to the closing of the Atlanta Crown Roads Post Office tonight at 7 p.m. at the Rosel Fann Recreation Center in Atlanta, Ga.  All services provided by the Crown Roads post office will be moved to a location in Gwinnett County under a proposal by the United States Postal Service.

“Closing this post office is a disinvestment to the city Atlanta,” said Sen. Fort.  “People should not have to travel outside of their neighborhood to find a post office.”
