ATLANTA (August 28, 2013) –Sen. Rick Jeffares (R – Locust Grove) was recently recognized by Friends of Georgia Archives and History for his efforts in the General Assembly to ensure a smooth transition for the Georgia Archives to the University System of Georgia. Sen. Jeffares received a plaque on July 29, 2013 for his commitment to making sure the Georgia Archives will remain open to the public and receive proper funding. Continue reading “Sen.
