Sen. Ronald Ramsey Host Westwood College Students

Ramsey_WestwoodCollegeATLANTA (December 5, 2014) | State Senator Ronald Ramsey (D- Lithonia) recently hosted students from Westwood College in the Georgia Senate to complete a class assignment.

“I am happy to welcome Dr. Eric Hubbard and his students to the Senate Chamber,” said Sen. Ramsey.  “We are on the cusp of a new legislative session and it is imperative that students research and learn the legislative process and issues that affect them and their communities.”

The students spent the day introducing and debating bills that they would like to see in the Georgia Legislature this year.  Sen. Ramsey then critiqued and answered questions from the students.  This is the seventh consecutive year that Sen. Ramsey has hosted students from Westwood College.  Also, providing an overview of the administrative functions of the legislature was Secretary of the Senate, David Cook.
