Sen. Miller to Serve as 2017 Governor’s Administration Floor Leader

ATLANTA (January 12, 2017) | On Thursday, Governor Nathan Deal announced that Sen. Butch Miller (R – Gainesville) will serve as a Governor’s Administration Floor Leader and will carry the governor’s bills in the Senate.

“It is an honor to serve and to represent Governor Deal in the Senate,” said Sen. Miller. “We work diligently to pass legislation that will better the lives of all of Georgia’s citizens.”

Sen. Miller will be joined by Sen. P. K. Martin IV (R – Lawrenceville) and Sen. Larry Walker III (R – Perry) on the Senate side. Rep. Chuck Efstration (R-Dacula), Rep. Trey Rhodes (R-Greensboro) and Rep. Terry Rogers (R-Clarkesville) will serve as floor leaders on the House side.

Senator Butch Miller was elected to the Georgia State Senate in 2010 to represent the 49th Senate District, which is comprised of the majority of Hall County. Sen. Miller serves as a member of the Senate Appropriations, Banking and Financial Institutions, Ethics, Regulated Industries and Utilities and Rules Committees.
