“I am truly humbled to receive this honor from such a distinguished organization,” said Sen. Albers. “I take my role as a senator very seriously and work hard to ensure there is growth and success within our education system. I look forward to working with GCO, my colleagues and citizens of Georgia to move our education system forward. Our children are our future and we should do everything we can to provide the best education possible to each and every one of them.”

GCO assigns grades to members of the Georgia General Assembly based on how they voted on legislation addressing school choice policies. Sen. Albers received an A+ grade for supporting legislation GCO designated as key to “creating or expanding parents’ ability to choose high-quality public and private education for their children.”
