Sen. Jeff Mullis Named One of Georgia’s Most Influential People

ATLANTA (January 8, 2015)  |  For the seventh consecutive year, Georgia Trend magazine has named Sen. Jeff Mullis (R – Chickamauga) to its Power List of “100 Most Influential Georgians.” The list highlights individuals who have accomplished something significant for the state and have had a positive impact on the livelihood of all Georgians.

“It’s humbling to be included in the company of these impressive individuals, all of which are committed to safeguarding Georgia’s future and overall prosperity. To be named as one of the most influential people out of nearly 10 million Georgians quite a distinction, and it’s not one I take lightly. I look forward to representing my constituents during the 2015 legislative session and continuing my work to ensure Georgia remains a great place to live, work and play,” said Sen. Mullis.

Sen. Mullis was first elected to the State Senate in 2000 and currently serves as chairman of the Senate Rules Committee. Before chairing Senate Rules, he served as the chairman of the Senate Transportation and Economic Development committees.

Sen. Mullis lives in Chickamauga with his wife Teresa and has three children.
