Sen. Emanuel Jones to Serve as Democratic Caucus First Vice-Chairman

ATLANTA (November 15, 2018) | Sen. Emanuel Jones II (D – Decatur) was recently elected by the Georgia Senate Democratic Caucus to serve as the Democratic Caucus First Vice-Chairman. 

“I am honored to have been elected to serve as the First Vice-Chairman for the Georgia Senate Democratic Caucus,” said Sen. Jones. “I am humbled to have the support of my caucus and I look forward to working with my colleagues in both the Senate and the House as we work to advance our bold, progressive agenda. I want to thank my fellow caucus members for this privilege and I look forward to using this position to make our community and our state the best it can be.”

This is Sen. Jones’ first term serving as the Democratic Caucus First Vice-Chairman. Sen. Jones was elected to serve Georgia’s 10th Senate District in 2004 and he currently serves on the Senate Banking and Financial Institutions, Economic Development and Tourism, Interstate Cooperation, Special Judiciary, and Veterans, Military and Homeland Security Committees.
