Sen. Burt Jones Honors Mr. Brian Burdette in the Senate

4Q8A9805ATLANTA (March 14, 2017) | Sen. Burt Jones (R – Jackson) honored the career and public service achievements of Mr. Brian Burdette in the Senate today.

“I am honored to be able to host such a fine citizen and strong public service advocate in the chamber,” said Sen. Jones. “Brian has always been a strong advocate for public education and school choice. I admire the sacrifices he makes and appreciate the personal time he has given up to make education in Georgia a top priority. He is a true role model of what a public servant should be. I appreciate his friendship and his commitment to all citizens of Georgia.”

Brian K. Burdette served for ten years on the Georgia Board of Education. In 2007, he was appointed as the 10th Congressional District State School Board Representative. Following his success as the representative in the 10th District, Burdette was chosen as Chairman of the District Flexibility and Charter Schools Committee in 2011.
