Sen. Brandon Beach Announces Final Meeting of Senate Study Committee on Combat Sports

ATLANTA (December 4, 2018) | Sen. Brandon Beach (R – Alpharetta), chairman of the Senate Study Committee on Combat Sports, has announced that their final meeting will take place on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in room 450 of the Georgia Capitol.

The Senate Study Committee on Combat Sports was created through the passage of Senate Resolution 995 during the 2018 Legislative Session. The committee is composed of seven members and includes state senators, an expert in sports medicine, one member with regulatory expertise in athletic, unarmed combat sports and a member from an industry organization or group with expertise in the promotion and production of unarmed combat events in Georgia.
