ATLANTA (February 13, 2017) | The Atlanta-Fulton County Legislative Delegation last Friday selected Sen. John Albers (R – Roswell) to serve as chairman for the 2017-2018 legislative biennial.
“I am truly humbled and honored that my colleagues selected me to serve as chair,” said Sen. Albers. “I take this role very seriously and look forward to working with the delegation and our local governments to ensure Fulton County is accountable and represented well at the Georgia Capitol.”
As chairman, Sen. Albers will coordinate and lead the meetings of the delegation, which are held throughout the year as well as specific to legislative session. He will also work with the county and city governments in Fulton on any local legislation.
