Sen. Albers Honors “Bridging the Gap of Georgia”

ATLANTA (March 8, 2012) – Sen. John Albers (R-Roswell) presented Senate Resolution 884 to members of “Bridging the Gap of Georgia (BTGG) today at the Jarmin Law Group in Buckhead. Executive Director Keith Laseter and members of the Board of Directors were present to accept the resolution.

“It was a terrific privilege to recognize members of “Bridging the Gap of Georgia” for their dedication to provide a stable environment for our nation’s greatest heroes, our veterans,” said Sen. Albers.  “The various tools BTGG employs to restore veterans after military duty are critical in bridging the barriers of society that have prevented them from succeeding in the past.”

“I would like to thank the Senate for recognizing “Bridging the Gap of Georgia” for our efforts to empower veterans and provide them with the necessary opportunities to lead successful lives,” said Executive Director Keith Laseter.

Bridging the Gap of Georgia was founded by Executive Director Keith Laseter, a veteran of the United States Army. Executive Director Mr. Laseter established BTGG with the primary goal of assisting veterans through the rehabilitation process and helping these heroes secure gainful employment.
