ATLANTA (October 20, 2016) | Sen. John Albers (R – Roswell) along with the Job Creators Network (JCN) held a Bring Small Businesses Back event in Georgia earlier today, receiving support from Lt. Governor Casey Cagle.

“Our goal is to educate small businesses on what is being done on the federal and state level to promote their growth and success,” said Sen. Albers. “Small businesses have the burden of dealing with numerous regulations and laws. A priority for me this upcoming session will be to address any burdens or issues small businesses face. I will work with the Job Creators Network and my colleagues to cut down regulations and to provide incentives for small business owners who hire new staff. We will also work to create a one-stop shop for all businesses when it comes to permit processing and applications. I look forward to working with JCN, my colleagues and small businesses around the state.”

Lt. Governor Cagle added, “It’s our businesses that create jobs for Georgians, not government…but it’s the job of policymakers to create the right environment for our businesses to prosper.”

“The Bring Small Businesses Back campaign is working to unleash the power of free enterprise,” said Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of the Job Creators Network. “With the help of Georgia lawmakers, such as Sen. Albers, we can get the economy working again for everyone in both Georgia and the entire country. Together, we can bring small businesses back.”

The Job Creators Network is a nonpartisan organization whose mission is to involve and inform employees on how government laws impact their jobs. Informing citizens and empowering them to think for themselves and to make their own decisions is critical. JCN is currently traveling the country to highlight the issues hurting small business with the Bring Small Businesses Back Tour.  They will discuss state and federal initiatives and what is being done on both levels to support small business.
