Sen. P.K. Martin Receives “Champion of Georgia’s Cities” Award
ATLANTA (August 3, 2016) | Sen. P.K. Martin (R – Lawrenceville) received a “Champion of Georgia’s Cities” award from the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) for his work during the 2015 – 2016 legislative sessions. The award was presented to Sen. Martin during the Lawrenceville City Council meeting on Monday, August 1. Sen. P.K. Martin Begins Service on Governor’s Child Welfare Reform Council
ATLANTA (September 17, 2015) | This summer, State Senator P.K. Martin (R – Lawrenceville) was tapped to serve on Gov. Nathan Deal’s Child Welfare Reform Council, which reviews the operations of Georgia’s Division of Family and Children Services and offers recommendations for better performance. P.K. Martin Joins Gov. Deal for Signing of SB 108
ATLANTA (May 6, 2015) | Sen. P.K. Martin (R – Lawrenceville) joined Gov. Nathan Deal Tuesday for the signing of Senate Bill 108 into law. SB 108 requires insurers to maintain a risk management agenda by completing an Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA), and provides guidance for filling out the ORSA Summary report with the Insurance Commissioner.
