Sen. Michael Williams Encourages Congress to Take Action Against Senate Bill 398

ATLANTA (April 21, 2017) – Sen. Michael Williams (R – Cumming) is urging members of Congress to take action against the problem that the ‘water wars’ between Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida have created for metro Atlanta and Lake Lanier by voting against Senate Bill 398.

Georgia Musical Investment Act Sent to Governor

ATLANTA (April 10, 2017) | On March 30, 2017, the Georgia General Assembly passed House Bill 155, titled the Georgia Musical Investment Act. HB 155, carried by Sen. Jeff Mullis (R – Chickamauga) and sponsored by Rep. Amy Carter (R – Valdosta), would create an income tax credit for production companies that handle state certified musical or theatrical productions. (more…)
