ATLANTA (August 3, 2016) | Sen. P.K. Martin (R – Lawrenceville) received a “Champion of Georgia’s Cities” award from the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) for his work during the 2015 – 2016 legislative sessions. The award was presented to Sen. Martin during the Lawrenceville City Council meeting on Monday, August 1. Lt. Governor Cagle Hosts Inaugural GA CATT Apprenticeship Signing Ceremony
(ATLANTA)- Lt. Governor Casey Cagle hosted the Georgia Consortium for Advanced Technical Training (GA CATT) Program signing ceremony. Eight Coweta County manufacturers signed their apprenticeship acceptance letter as with ten incoming high school sophomores who are part of the inaugural GA CATT class of Industrial Mechanics apprentices. Sen. JaNice VanNess Encourages Students to Apply for Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council
ATLANTA (August 2, 2016) | Monday, State School Superintendent Richard Woods announced he is seeking students enrolled in public middle and high schools throughout Georgia to serve on his 2016 Student Advisory Council. Students will attend several meetings with Superintendent Woods to discuss the impacts of state policies on schools. Sen.
