ATLANTA (January 15, 2015) | State Sen. Gail Davenport (D-Jonesboro) will host two and attend other events in her district to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. this weekend. Both events are sponsored by The Concerned Black Citizens Coalition of Clayton County. Sen. Medical Association of Georgia Honors Sen. Renee Unterman with 1849 Friend of Medicine Award

ATLANTA (January 15, 2015) | Sen. Renee Unterman (R – Buford) was recently honored with the 1849 Friend of Medicine Award from the Medical Association of Georgia (MAG). The organization specifically recognized Sen. Unterman’s leadership of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee, as well as her support of Georgia’s medical personnel and work to improve safety and licensing regulations.

Sen. Gloria Butler Elected to Leadership Role with Women In Government

ATLANTA (January 14, 2015) | At the 21st Annual State Directors’ and 11th Biennial First Term Legislators’ Conference in St. Pete Beach, Florida, Sen.
