First Informer Broadcasters Act Signed Into Law

BeachATLANTA (April 25, 2014) | Governor Nathan Deal signed Senate Bill 381, otherwise known as the First Informer Broadcasters Act, into law yesterday at the State Capitol.  Sponsored by Senator Brandon Beach (R- Alpharetta), SB 381 will advise the unified incident command system and the Georgia Emergency Operations Plan (GEOP) to establish planning for first informer broadcasters. Governor Signs Sen. David Shafer’s Resolution Urging Congress to Increase Korean Investment in Georgia

sagsaATLANTA (April 24, 2014) | Senate Resolution 941 was signed by Governor Nathan Deal today at the Georgia State Capitol. Sponsored by President Pro Tempore David Shafer (R- Duluth), this resolution urges Congress to increase the number of visas granted to Korean citizens who work in specialized occupations as part of a strategy to promote continued Korean investment in Georgia.
