Georgia Senate Passes Bill Creating the Zell Miller Grant

ATLANTA (March 20, 2014)  |  The Georgia Senate today approved House Bill 697, a bill that establishes the Zell Miller Grant and defines additional opportunities for taxpayer contributions towards educational assistance nonprofits. The bill passed unanimously by a vote of 56 to 0 and carried by Sen. Charlie Bethel (R – Dalton). Rep. Stacey Evans (D – Smyrna) sponsored the bill in the House. Sen. Brandon Beach Leads the Passage of Influential Legislation

ATLANTA (March 20, 2014) | Senator Brandon Beach (R- Alpharetta) led the passage of two influential bills through the House of Representatives and State Senate on Day 39 of the legislative session.  Senate Bill 381, sponsored by Sen. State House of Representatives Overwhelmingly Passes Legislation to Create Agricultural History Museum

ATLANTA (March 18, 2014) | Today, the Georgia House of Representatives passed Senate Bill 274 with a vote of 166–2. Sen. State House of Representatives Unanimously Passes Legislation Designating Georgia “Purple Heart State”

ATLANTA (March 17, 2014) | Today, the Georgia House of Representatives passed Senate Bill 276 by a vote of 167–0. Sen.
