Sen. Judson Hill Appointed Chairman of Federal and State Funded Health Care Financing Programs Overview Committee

ATLANTA (August 20, 2013) – Senator Judson Hill (R-Marietta) has been appointed to serve as Chairman of the Georgia Legislative Federal and State Funded Health Care Financing Programs Overview Committee by Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle. Senator Hill, a longtime advocate for health care reform and improved oversight, authored the legislation to enact the joint committee. The Georgia Legislative Federal and State Funded Health Care Financing Programs Overview Committee will provide the legislature with keen insight into Georgia’s public health programs, which represent approximately 25% of the state budget.
