Senator Rogers Earns Perfect Score and A+ Rating from Georgia Chamber

ATLANTA (May 27, 2011) – Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers has received the highest ranking given on the Georgia Chamber of Commerce Honor Roll. The Chamber’s Honor Roll recognizes legislators that were most supportive of the business community during the 2010 Legislative Session. Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers Named Digital Leader by Foundation for Excellence in Education

ATLANTA– (Tuesday, May 24, 2011) Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers was recently announced as a “Digital Leader” by The Foundation for Excellence in Education. Digital Learning Now! is a national campaign advancing the 10 Elements of High Quality Digital Learning, which provide a roadmap for lawmakers and policymakers to integrate digital learning into education. Sen. Hamrick Appointed to Special Council on Criminal Justice Reform

ATLANTA (May 20, 2011) – Sen. Bill Hamrick (R-Carrollton) was recently appointed to the Special Council on Criminal Justice Reform by Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle. Sen. Hamrick will serve on this council with Sens. John Crosby (R-Tifton) and Ron Ramsey (D-Lithonia) as well as appointments from Gov. Nathan Deal and Supreme Court Chief Justice Carol Hunstein.
